Today, highly enthusiastic, I want to introduce you to TED Talks.
According to ted.com, TED is a global community, welcoming people from every discipline and culture who seek a deeper understanding of the world. Their motto is “ideas worth spreading”.
Nowadays, the information found online, is, unfortunately, of very poor quality. Therefore I believe that having trustful sources as opinion, visions and value shapers is essential. That is exactly what TED does. They bring in front of us specialists in various fields or people with experience in different areas. Each presenter delivers a speech to present his/her idea (in average the time span is around 17 min/speech).
The topics are unlimited: archaeology, autism, bacteria, beauty, books, corruption, coding, death, development, failure, ecology etc.
At night, when you go to bed, or in the morning on your way to the office, replace Facebook and Instagram with TED talks. It’s an extremely easy way of learning new things, of broaden your perspectives.
I’d like to hear from you which is your favorite TED talk and why or what would you like to share with the world as a TED speaker.
